Introduction

The project is about how users can able to buy a sanitary pad in easy and hassle free way, without feeling any kind of discomfort.

Your personal assistant who direct you to buy sanitary pads on your own and to simplify

your life. "have you ever forgot to carry sanitary pads while going out and don't find a way to buy sanitary pad?" OR "have you ever seen someone feeling hesitation while buying a sanitary pad?"

User Research

To do complete research about the project, I went through various steps and processes which include user interviews and an online google survey, before I started implementing the project and that helped me understand the users' main needs.

Online Google Survey

1. Buying a sanitary pad from a vending machine is better than buying from a store.

2. Prefer to buy a sanitary pad of a particular brand.

3. Ever happen that you forgot to carry your pad and stuck in an awful situation?

4. Ever faced affordability or disposal-related issues regarding sanitary pads?

5. While buying for any female do they want details about types and brands of sanitary pads?

6. Do you carry your Sanitary pad every time you go out?

7. Ever happen that you don't remember your dates or your periods came early and you forgot to carry your pad? If yes how you have managed that situation?

8. How often do you forgot your dates?

Problem statement

Hesitation while buying sanitary pads, mostly male users.

Disposal-related issues.

Feel helpless in case of the unexpected menstrual cycle, as many of them does not carry sanitary pad every time they go out.

In case of emergency have to buy a full packet of sanitary pads.

Solution

I have provided a sanitary pad dispenser that every user can operate without any guidance.

Users can easily withdraw and dispose of the sanitary pad through this dispenser.

Users can easily find the location of these dispensers with the help of an app ie. P- Tracker

Users can also book and pay for sanitary pads through this app without actually going to the dispenser.

Personas

Before started designing, I deep dive into existing behaviour of our users to understand them better. For this I conducted a series of user interviews to understand their pain points, needs and behaviour.
